In December 2004, the church voted in agreement to accept a Pulpit Search Committee. This committee headed by Sis. Judy Williams would be responsible for seeking qualified candidates to be considered for the position of pastor. The church also voted in agreement to seat an interim pastor until a permanent/full-time pastor could be obtained.
In an effort to understand exactly what it is the membership wants in a new Pastor, the Pulpit Search Committee submitted a questionnaire to the congregation. It covered every pertinent area. It is the desire of the committee to be able to announce the availability of the Pastoral position by November 1, 2005.
